📱 Connect WhatsApp to SignSlip

1 Create a Twilio Account

WhatsApp integrates through Twilio (same account as SMS can be used).

1. Go to twilio.com/try-twilio
2. Sign up with your email and phone
3. Complete verification

2 Get Twilio Credentials

1. Log in to console.twilio.com
2. Copy your Account SID and Auth Token

3 Set Up WhatsApp in Twilio

1. In Twilio console: Messaging → WhatsApp
2. Click Get Started
3. Accept Terms & Conditions
4. Get your Twilio WhatsApp number (or connect your business number)

4 Add WhatsApp Channel in SignSlip

1. Log in to SignSlip dashboard
2. Select your team
3. Click Add WhatsApp Channel
4. Fill in:
   • Channel Name: e.g., "Customer Support"
   • Phone Number: Your Twilio WhatsApp number
   • Account SID: From step 2
   • Auth Token: From step 2
5. Click Create Channel

5 Configure Twilio Webhook

1. In Twilio: Messaging → WhatsApp Sandbox
2. Go to Sandbox Settings
3. Find "When a message comes in"
4. Set webhook URL to:
   https://yoursite.com/api/webhooks/twilio/whatsapp
5. Save

6 Test It

1. Send test message from WhatsApp to your Twilio number
2. Message appears in SignSlip inbox
3. Team members can reply
