Channel Setup Guides

Telegram Setup

  1. Open Telegram, search for @BotFather
  2. Type /newbot to create a new bot
  3. Choose a name (e.g., "MyBusiness Inbox")
  4. Choose a username (must end with "bot")
  5. Copy your bot token
  6. In SignSlip: Team Settings → Add Channel → Telegram
  7. Paste your bot token and save
  8. Share your bot username with customers
  9. Messages appear instantly in your inbox

Email Setup

  1. In SignSlip: Team Settings → Add Channel → Email
  2. Enter your business email address
  3. Follow verification steps
  4. SignSlip provides you a forwarding address
  5. Set up email forwarding in your email provider
  6. All emails to your business email now appear in SignSlip
  7. Reply directly from SignSlip (goes from your email)

SMS Setup

  1. Create a Twilio account at twilio.com (free $15 credit included)
  2. Get your Account SID and Auth Token from Twilio console
  3. Buy a Twilio phone number for your team
  4. In SignSlip: Team Settings → Add Channel → SMS
  5. Enter: Phone number, Account SID, Auth Token
  6. Configure Twilio webhook pointing to SignSlip
  7. SMS to your number now appears in your inbox
  8. Reply directly from SignSlip (goes from your Twilio number)

  1. Create a Twilio account at twilio.com
  2. Set up WhatsApp Business API in Twilio console
  3. Get your Account SID, Auth Token, and WhatsApp number

WeChat Setup

  1. Create a WeChat Official Account at mp.weixin.qq.com (requires business verification)
  2. Enable Developer API in WeChat Developer Center
  3. Get your AppID, AppSecret, and create a Token
  4. Generate an Access Token from WeChat API
  5. In SignSlip: Team Settings → Add Channel → WeChat
  6. Configure WeChat webhook pointing to SignSlip
  7. WeChat messages now appear in your unified inbox
  8. Reply directly from SignSlip (goes from your Official Account)

Common Questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Try PDF signing and receipt scanning free (2 PDFs, 3 receipts/month). Teams require a subscription via PayPal.

How many channels can I add?

Base Plan ($49/mo): Up to 3 channels. Pro Plan ($99/mo): Unlimited. Additional channels: $9/mo each.

Can multiple people use one team?

Yes. Invite members with different roles (owner, admin, agent, viewer). Base plan: 2 members. Pro plan: 5 members.

Is my data private?

Yes. Team data is isolated. Only members can see conversations. Credentials are AES-256 encrypted. Messages auto-delete 30 days after subscription ends.

What are "AI summaries"?

Our AI creates a brief summary of each conversation, highlighting key points and customer intent. Helps your team understand requests without reading full chat history.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime. You keep access through the end of your billing cycle. 30 days to export data before deletion.

How do I send PDF forms?

From any conversation, click "Send PDF". Upload your form. Customer fills and signs in browser. Auto-returns to your inbox when done.

What channels do you support?

Telegram, Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and WeChat. Each team can have up to 3 channels (Base Plan) or unlimited (Pro Plan). Clients provide their own Twilio/WeChat credentials for secure operation.
